On-Line Screening

An on-line screening is not a substitute for a complete mental health evaluation. It does not result in a diagnosis.  However, it does provide an indication of whether or not a person has symptoms consistent with a particular illness.

The Mental Health Self-Assessment Program divides its on-line screenings into sections that ask participants about either depression, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, bipolar disorder and/or alcohol abuse. It is anonymous. In the event the results suggest significant potential mental health symptoms, the Program will direct you to additional resources.  To log in use the keyword: vandy.

One valuable resource for Vanderbilt faculty, physicians, staff, and their significant others is Work/Life Connections-EAP (936-1327) and its free services.

Vanderbilt students are eligible for services through the Zerfoss Student Health Center (322-2427) and the Psychological and Counseling Center (322-2571).
